Meet David

I started Philp Media because I wanted to build something of my own — a creative business rooted in doing meaningful work for real people. Wedding videography turned out to be the perfect fit.

My style is cinematic and dramatic — I want your film to feel like something you'd actually want to watch over and over. Every edit is crafted with intention, from the clips I choose to the music that ties it all together.

I'm still early in my journey, and honestly, that works in your favour. I'm hungry, I care deeply about every single couple I work with, and I'm not juggling a hundred bookings at once.

As soon as possible! Once your wedding date is set, reach out to check availability. Popular dates fill up quickly, and securing your date early gives us more time to plan together.

A deposit is required to hold your date. Once you submit an inquiry and we confirm availability, you’ll receive details through the client portal to get everything locked in.

You’ll receive your finished film within 16–20 weeks of your wedding day — and often sooner. You’ll also have a two-week revision window once it’s delivered.

Absolutely — I love hearing what music means to you as a couple. I take your suggestions seriously and use them to guide the edit, though I do retain creative control over the final cut.

Yes! I cover Calgary and the surrounding area at no extra charge. If your wedding is further out, just reach out and we can discuss travel details.

I always come prepared with backup gear, so a technical issue won’t mean missed moments. Your day is too important to leave anything to chance.

Every package includes one round of revisions after delivery. Just send your feedback and I’ll make it right.
